Lexi: Hannah Montana concert
Once upon a time there was a little girl named Lily. She loved Hannah Montana. Her room had a Hannah Montana bedspread, dirty clothes hamper, clothes/pajamas, rug, pillowcase, and like ten posters. She watched Hannah Montana everyday on Disney channel. Her favorite episode was Get down and study. She had never been to a Hannah Montana concert before. She wanted to go so bad. One day she bought an MP3 player. As soon as she got home, she downloaded both Hannah Montana CDs on it. She listened to it everyday. Lily’s favorite was Rock star, and every time she listened to it, she would always dance to it. In the school talent show, she danced a solo to it. A couple months after Lily got her MP3, her mom picked her up from school. In the car, she told her that her best friend, Makayla, had invited her to a Hannah Montana concert. Lily was so excited. The very second she walked into the house, she went to her room, got out her journal, and wrote all about it. She couldn’t stop thinking about it. She wrote Makayla a million thank you cards, then went to her house and gave them to her. Later that evening, she remembered that on that very night of the concert, she had a dance recital. She told her mom and her mom said, “Lily, I have already called your dance teachers. They said that it would be fine if you missed it to go to the concert.” Lily let out a sigh of relief. She wanted to go to the concert so bad. The next day at school, Lily told Makayla thank you again. At recess, Lily decided to play softball. Lily remembered that she had a softball game that night, too. Lily thought that she wouldn’t be able to go to the concert because she would have to go to a stupid softball game. When she got home, she told her mom about the softball game. She said, “Lily, your softball game isn’t until the next night.” “Oh,” Lily said. “That means that I can go to the concert!!” “That’s right,” said Lily’s mom. The next day Lily thought of another thing that she thought would make her miss the concert. “I don’t have enough money to buy myself lunch, a shirt, or a glow stick,” Lily complained to her mom. “Lily, you already have a T-shirt with Hannah Montana on it, and I can give you the money to buy lunch and glow sticks,” her mom told her. In the end, Lily ended up going to the concert. She had a wonderful time.
