KBT: My brothers and sisters

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Ok, so I don’t deserve these tickets, but I have 2 brothers and a little sister that do. You see I got to go and see Miley with my cousin when she came to Salt Lake. My brothers and little sister were all a little disappointed, but they were really good sports and excited for me that I got to go. It was such an awesome concert and I know that this one will be just as cool if not better. I really think it would be so awesome if they had the chance to get to see Miley Cyrus in real life. It would be their first concert ever, and how cool would it be to see the hottest pop artist. You know sometimes we fight and don’t get along, but I love them and want to do something nice for them. Because I am the oldest I get to do more stuff, and sometimes it makes them all mad at me. So if I won these tickets for them it would make them not feel like I get to do all the cool stuff. We all love to watch Hannah Montana and sing along with her on the radio. Even my brothers sing along. I really would be the best big sister in the world if I could win these tickets for them. We love the 4th of July too. My mom always gets everyone in the family a new shirt and we go to the parades. We love to watch the fire works. Even when it is over we want to get some and light them off. The colors are so beautiful and they look cool in the sky. I think that they deserve to win because they are awesome kids and this day would be so much fun for them. So I hope that you will pick this essay from a sister who wants to give my siblings a fun 4th of July.

Shoney: Who is Miley Cyrus?

Monday, June 30th, 2008

I am at the local library doing a summer school book report on country singers. I don’t listen to country, maybe that is why my hick teacher assigned me this topic. I hate his cowboy hat. I did a web search for one hit country wonders and Billy Ray Cyrus popped up. He was singing something about his achy breaky heart. I tried listening to the song with a straight face but couldn’t. I really tried.

Anyway there was a link to this site so I clicked on it. Now I am confused. Did Billy Ray have a sex change operation to avoid the ridicule he must receive on a daily basis because of that song? Is he now Miley Cyrus instead of Billy Ray (did his friends actually call him Billy Ray)? Why did he change his name? Couldn’t he have just gone by the artist formerly known as Billy Ray? Or he could have come up with a symbol like that Prince character. He could have done like Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Puffy etc etc and just gone to Billy, Bill, Ray Ray or even William.

I don’t really care to see him sing all dressed up as a woman. I am just trying to get help with my book report to keep Mr. Lipschitz from failing me again. I just hate cleaning out his horse stables for extra credit.

Well onto other sites. I can assure you I will not be clicking on the one advertising nasty photos of Miley. I saw one of the pre-op Billy, and I don’t think there is enough surgery available to get rid of that Mullet.

Silly Mama: Miley Cyrus Tickets

Monday, June 30th, 2008

I know there are many a moms out there that want to do something cool for their kids; and YES, I’m one of those.  I’ve got two great 16 year old kids that I’d love to take to this concert.  Charlie and Melanie are your typical teenagers, plus they love Miley!  In fact, Charlie has idolized Miley for the past several years.  As he has grown up, I figured he’d calm down with his enthusiasm for Miley….but NO.  You see, he’s a very smart, athletic young man and rather serious when it comes to life.  But whenever he sees Miley on tv, he just gets silly…it’s kind of nice to see such a serious young fellow go “goo goo” for a bit.
Now Melanie…she just loves Miley and makes no bones about it.  She loves all music and loves Miley for the sake of her twin brother too.
I’d just like to do something nice for my kids and take them to see Miley.  Like I said, they are typical kids, love life and I’d like to surprise them with something like this for the 4th of July.
I know they’d love to meet Miley…especially Charlie.  And I really think Miley would be interested in Charlie.  He’s a good kid, likes baseball, football, wrestling and golf.  He’d be a lot of fun and she’d get a kick out of him.  Melanie would love to meet her too and they’d get along great as friends, I’m sure.
Give me that chance to do something really cool for my kids!
And I’d really love to see Miley as well.  She’s a great role model and plus I love her songs too.
Short and sweet….let this mom do something really cool for her kids that deserve it!

I have been trying to get tickets for my niece’s that came from Italy with they mom, where they are station. They haven’t been home to visit for about 2 years. They are here just visiting for a few weeks. Their dad has been is in the service for 9 years now & still going strong. It has been hard for them. They have been moving all over the place & really don’t understand yet. So it has been hard on them, & also the rest of my family. They love Miley Cyrus, what little girl don’t love her. She is their idol. That is all they talk about. They have everything of her. They can sing & dance to her songs word from word. I think it would be a good opportunity for them to go see her in concert. Since in Italy they don’t have shows or anything like we do here. They don’t get a lot of channels.  They don’t knows she’s here i don’t want to get their hopes up & then not be able to find tickets to take them. I would love to surprise them. They would never get anything like that there. Or have the opportunity to.And when i seen that I have an opportunity to try to win them some tickets then I had to try knowing that there are a lot of people trying also. I’m just an aunt trying to make my niece’s dreams come true. And they can go back sharing it with their dad, & friend how they got to see Miley Cyrus live in concert.
Thank you for the opportunity….

ShellBell: To Show Up My Brother

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Hello.  I thank you for having a contest where anyone can enter and have a chance at taking their kids to a really fun Patriotic display as well as seeing their American Teen Idol.  I don’t have a sob story to tell you.  I just have the reason my girls deserve the tickets.  I have a brother who makes good money and I am very proud of him.  He worked really hard to get where he is and to be able to provide so well for his family.  Because of his hard work he has every electronic gadget before most people even know they are on the market.  He takes so many trips to Disneyland and San Diego with his family that we joke with him and tell him he should pay Part-Resident State taxes to California.  His kids want for nothing and are involved in many after school activities.  They are very grounded in reality and are not as spoiled as you would think even though they only have to ask for something and they get it.  Again, I am proud of my brother and his accomplishments.  He is litteraly a Rocket Scientist and loves his work.  Not many people can say that they love what they do for a living.  Now back to the reason why I believe my three girls deserve the tickes to the Stadium of Fire.  One thing my brother has not been able to do with his money is take his girls to see Miley Cyrus (and they really, really want to go.)  My girls are wonderful and have never once been jealous of their cousins (even though our family’s situation is very opposite that of my brother’s.)  I love my girls with all my heart and would love to be able to tell them that I am taking them to see Miley Cyrus even before their cousins get to go.  I know that eventually my brother will take his family to one of her concerts but I would love so much for once to do something before he does.  I know that it is selfish of me to feel this way, but I think my girls deserve to be able to tell their cousins that they are going to the Stadium of Fire and going to get to see Miley Cyrus before them.  If you find it in your heart to award my family the tickets I would be forever greatful.

Mark: Two deserving kids.

Well fist of all let me start off by saying that I am the proud father of six children - with two more on the way as my wife is expecting twins-.  This weekend I have been constantly bombarded with Dad, Dad, Dad, will you please write a letter so we can win tickets?  So in order to stay in the super dad hall of fame I figured the least I could do is brag about my two oldest girls for a minute.  Brooklin “Dook” is my oldest at 9 and 9/10ths followed by Daisy “Tibby” who is 7.  They are both exceptional young women who work as hard as they play.  They are great big helpers to their mother and love to help out with the household chores especially if they get to do it while listening to Hannah Montana.  They both have entertained all of their younger brothers and sisters with their mini-concerts singing and dancing with a dish towel or broom or whatever is available to fit the bill as a microphone.  Brooklin is also a 4th of July fanatic and with the help of a good friend made her own american flag skirt for 4th of July -her birthday is also the 12th of July-.  Daisy is not far behind on her love of the 4th of July and likes to make sure her hair is perfect with red-white-and blue stars and loves to watch fireworks.  We live in a rual area and I always get a kick seeing them singing to the lambs and jumping on the trampoline singing “Who said I can’t be superman,” when I see them I must agree with Hannah Montana that “I know they can.”  I the end I just want to say that as their dad I am super proud of them and the choices they make.  I think you could look far and wide but as their dad I know that both of these girls would have smiles on their faces for a month if they won this contest and I don’t know of any who would appreciate it more than they would.

Deserve…I don’t know that I have any reason to say that I deserve to win these tickets, but it would be totaly awsome to win them.
I am the lucky mother of 5 beautiful and healthy children, 3 of which are girls. The oldest 2 girls love Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. The youngest girl is too small to care. Then I have 2 boys, and the oldest would never like to admit it, but he would love to get to see her perform. His brother is also to young to know or care about Miley Cyrus. I would love to be able to take them to this show. I wanted to get tickets, but just didn’t feel that I could. I can only imagine how beautiful this whole night will be. Not just seeing Miley in concert, but to celebrate our independence. Our family loves the 4th of July. The fire works, the patriotic music, and just the overwhelming feeling of gratitude for being able to live in this awesome country. My husband, their father, is a long haul truck driver. He will be gone this year on the 4th. I would just really like to get to spend an amazing 4th of July with my children.  It would truly be a night that we would remember for the rest of our lives. And I believe that memories are one of the greatest gifts I can give to them. Our story isn’t one of tragedy, loss, or misfortune. Ours is a story of love, family, and well-being. My children are my greatest blessing, and my greatest challenge. I am honored and blessed to have them in my life. Even if mine is not the winning essay, I am a still the biggest winner because I get to be their mother.  Thank you for your time and consideration.

Rosie: Freedom to see and believe!

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Hi I am Madelyn Hayward. I am the oldest of five kids. My mom is going to have baby number six.  I am 10 years old, and I live in Spanish Fork. I go to school at Canyon Elementary in Spanish Fork. I love Miley Cyrus so much, and I watch her all the time on Disney Channel.
I should be able to have those Miley tickets in my hands because every time she has performed a show in Salt Lake the tickets sold out way to quickly. I mean SO QUICKLY! That’s very sad indeed. I have watched Hannah Montana/ Miley Cyrus everyday on Disney Channel, but I would really like to see her live in concert.                                                                                                                                My Grandfather was in Vietnam and he was able to fight for our freedom. That’s why we should thank are troops. It is this freedom that should allow those who would like to go to a Miley concert the opportunity to go.   I also think that the stadium of fire has taken its freedoms in raising prices so that people with large families cannot afford to take everyone to the stadium of fire.
Subway is always a proud sponsor of Disney Channel as I have been told. I never knew that it would make it to the BIG thing …
To the stadium! The stadium  is a big thing .My life is in Miley Cyrus’s blood I believe in her and Hannah Montana is a great singer so is Miley Cyrus hear they are the same person “ Done Deal!”
Corbin Blue got to sing there and he’s on Disney Channel. I did not get to see him sing don’t you think that’s so sad? I Madelyn Hayward love to watch Disney Channel and I am a TV child. So back to the real deal I think I should have the stadium of  fire tickets that are free because I just think I should I am ten years old and I am running in this contest for free tickets to the stadium of fire with Miley Cyrus/Hannah

eat your ham tina: The Concert

Suspense builds awaiting the beginning of the end of a day spent anticipating this event.

Casual conversation passes the time with the stranger next to you and before you know it the room is a crashing ocean of individual people drawn together to witness their own existence.  I am part of this ocean.

The energy of the room moves to the beckoning of the conductor; we are prisoners to the imperious thumping of the bass drum.

Thump, thump, thump, thump…  Silence…  But everyone’s hearts still beating in unison.  And like a crash of thunder the crowd erupts into uninhibited chaos.

Again the conductor lures my soul into his dance, my mind along for the ride, the crowd is a body moving with mine, with the ocean, with the beat.

As I look down across the landscape of faces the word “captivated” comes to mind.  An angel falls from the sky into a sea of lust and is carried away by eyes that are mirrors reflecting diverse perceptions of her self.

I close my eyes feeling the music move through every inch of my body and the bodies touching mine.  “Beautiful” I whisper, but my soul shouts from so high the echo reaches a corner of the universe.

Again the room is quiet except the incessant cheering of the crowd.

As the room dissolves without the direction of it’s beloved conductor, I close my eyes hoping to capture this experience, not wanting to loose a trickle of it’s beauty, wishing I could freeze time forever, or burst into a billion tiny ripples vibrating through space becoming one with the music.

But the night is over.  The night has been over for days, yet it is here in my bed, in my dreams, the ocean still crashing against my shores; it’s here that the music is still alive and it’s beauty, for the moment, still within my reach.

woolly: 5 girls and Hannah Montana

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Don’t worry. This is not a sob story. Actually, it is a happy one. I am the oldest of five girls. We all ADORE Miley Cyrus. It is one of the things that we all have in common. Sometimes we fight, but don’t we all? Anyway, Hannah Montana/Miley brings us closer together. I know that it sounds kind of weird. She helps us bond together as sisters. We all love to dance to her songs and know all the words. Sometimes you can here my 4 year old sister singing stuff like “you always on my mind. Together! Together! You and Me!!’ Okay maybe she doesn’t know all the words, but the other four of us do. The fighting stops and we are all friends again when we here Miley on the radio and all start singing. We have all of her CD’s and are all excitedly waiting for her next one. It will be awesome! Me and my sisters love to play games and listen to hannah montana songs. You want to know what is even better?  When we all go into the bathroom in the morning and do our hair while we blast the Miley music and sing along! We are all HUGE fans and would LOVE to be able to go to the concert.  We would have already gone to thousands (okay…a lot) of concert but the prices of tickets were always a problem. But anyway, it was kind of funny when my sister was having her seventh birthday party. My cousin got her a Hannah Montana wig. It looked a little off since we have tan skin and the wig was a definite blond. She wore it everywhere, even to the store! It was hilarious. It doesn’t sound like it, but it was.  It would be incredibly amazing if we could actually win this thing. It was really nice of you to do this. You are the first one I have heard of that has done this kind of thing. I don’t mean to try and bribe you, but you rock!! (Even if we lose, you will still rock!!) Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Chelsea: Three Cheers for Miley!

Monday, June 30th, 2008

You know, I used to not like Miley Cyrus. I had seen the stuff she had done (the pictures and all), and thought,’Hey. This girl has problems’. Just recently, I was thinking about how much I hated her, when I realized two things. One, it’s not fair for me to hate her, and two, she’s actually a pretty talented girl. On the subject of my first reason, I figured out something. I’ve never met her, and it’s not fair for me to hate her. Plus, if I were famous, I wouldn’t want people hating me just because I made some mistakes, right? So I softened up a bit. Then I realized something even more. Miley is actually pretty talented. I finally admitted to myself that I liked her music, and that her new style was way better then her old one. She was finally breaking out of the Disney life and becoming herself. I just think that it’s amazing how successful she is, and I’m proud of her for not letting in to the pressure. I think I deserve these Miley Cyrus tickets because I would love to see her in concert. Three cheers for Miley!

flangeloaf: oh my gosh it’s miley cyrus!!!

Monday, June 30th, 2008

I really love miley Cyrus and so do the rest of my sisters! we love to sing and dance to her songs.  whenever I am at wal-mart and I see something that involves Hannah or miley I yell, yeah look it’s hannah montana, or miley cyrus and run over and there and look at it!  we always love to watch her videos and we watch them so much that when we watch them again and we know some of there parts!  and we have many many hannah montana and miley cyrus things! i have a video and pictures and posters and a barbie ! we will be so grateful if we get the tickets! you might not believe me but one of my dreams is to SEE her! we have all her cds and we just love her!and me and my sisters really want those tickets! and if we get the tickets this would be the first concert that we would be at!  this would be the greatest moment for us! miley is so cool! whenever i watch her shows she is so pretty and it makes me want to see her live in concert and  maybe (this might happen) she’ll choose someone from the audience  and talk to them , well that’s what i’ve seen on t.v. and i could be able to talk to her!  and i would finally be able to get my groove on!  and so would my mom because at my old house , when my mom came home she saw us exercising and dancing to and singing to her songs and so she joined us!!!  and on time we went to party party land and we saw a cut out of hannah montana and i wanted to prove to my friends that i saw and met hannah montana. in the morning we get in the bath room and turn on hannah montana /miley cyrus music and blast it and sing to it and just do our hair. i don’t know what is up but usually when we turn on the music our cat lays down and rolls . miley is so great and i really want to go to her concert and i ‘d really want to go! and i don’t care if i am in the nose bleed area!  and it would be great if my first concert would be miley cyrus i sing every song that she has! and right now my sisters are writing a song and it’s already been taking a long time so it can be the best that they can make it cause they love miley soooooo… much!!!! and it would be so great if i won the tickets and so me and my mom and 2 sisters would go! it would be so fun if i could go!i hope i will win and maybe my essay isn’t very good but hey, it’s worth a try! well any way i hope i win and for everybody else good luck!

ShayJo: Why I deserve these Tickets

Monday, June 30th, 2008

First of all I think you are a great person for giving all of us an opportunity to get our “Dream Tickets.”

I think I would use these tickets to get a vacation from my Parents, and Family. You see I am a six year old girl who has a 13 Year old brother, and a very annoying 2 year old sister( I love them both very much though.) I have two parents who expect the world of me, and as a normal six year old who thinks I know everything, and am always being picked on I would say I need a vacation from all of this. I never missed a day of school last year, and love school to death. My parents are very proud of my Kindergarten accomplishments. I am overworked, and extremly underpaid, I cant even get the Ice Cream man to stop as he does not apprecite the window shopping, and my Parents will not raise my allowance, and as I said I am deeply picked on…Although I would have to have one of my parents go with me, I would use the other 2 tickets to take two of my Friends who are my age, and are also extremly picked on…We are a group of your standard 6 year old know it alls, and my parents said that since it seems that I have all of the answers in life at 6 years old that I should surely be able to figure out a way to get tickets to my dream vacation. My brother laughed at the thought, but then again he thinks he knows more than me(I guess he easily forgewts that I am a 6 year old) My little sister who I am sure is a future know it all just hits and bites me everytime I even look at her, but if put on some of my Montana tunes she is always good for a dance session with me. My dad gets a little upset sometimes because I put on my mp3 and turn it up, and spend hours singing loudly because I am not able to hear myself. He just needs to grow up, and be a little more mature.(Like me) As a matter of fact he makes me use this lousy mp3, and refuses to buy me an Ipod. (I told you I am very picked on.) My mom tries to get me to help clean all of the tim obviously she does not understand the life of a picked on 6 year old. As you can see with all the frustrations in my life I could really use this vacation, but if these tickets go to someone else because you fell like picking on me to I still want you to know I appreciate the opportunity that you have given us all, and think its people like you that gives picked on 6 year olds like me a chance to smile once in a while…Thanks…ShayJo

Tess: WHY I WANT TO WIN TICKETS TO SEE MILEY CYRUS

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Why do I want to win Miley Cyrus tickets?  Well, to take my 6 year old daughter. Why would I want to do that, well let me tell you she is such a wonderful daughter. She is such an inspiration to me she never misses the opportunity to make someone smile or give of herself to help someone out. Is she perfect, to me she is. But by definition no one is perfect (no pun intended). But I wouldn’t have it any other way; I wouldn’t trade her for anything.  She is such a great girl and the love of my life. She tries so hard to be a wonderful friend and daughter and does one heck of a good job.  Yes, she has her moments but don’t we all.  She is the typical American Pre-Tween, she loves to listen to Miley/Hannah and watch her show (everyday and every time it’s on), loves High School Musical, loves her Daddy, loves to sing and dance, hang out with her friends, ride on their scooters and also play Barbies. The Fourth of July is a favorite holiday of hers, she loves the all the flags along with the fact it is a celebration for our Country. One of her favorite songs is “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood. She belts it out any chance she gets. She is such a Patriotic little girl.  She never sees a Soldier without tell him or her “Thank you for keeping us safe.” Every time she does that it just melts my heart and reminds me I’ve done something right.  She has an understanding what they are doing for us everyday and what they sacrifice, and appreciates everyone of them.  A neighbor of ours was a Soldier that was killed in Iraq a few years ago.  She has such a great love for our Country.  It would be so wonderful to surprise her with tickets to The Stadium of Fire; she would LOVE to see Miley in concert. What a HUGE FAN SHE IS.  To be there to sing along with every song and just dance her little heart out it would be so amazing. She is such an awesome little girl who is so passionate about life that I would love for her to enjoy such a special night that she would remember for the rest of her life.

Tessie: My Daughter would love to go.

Monday, June 30th, 2008

I have an amazing 6 year old that is a huge fan of Hannah/Miley.  She knows all the words to her songs and we listen to them ALL the time while we are in the car and they are on frequently when we are at home and she is dancing around. She absolutely adores her.  When Miley came in concert we were online trying to find good seats to go the day of the concert.  Then 3 seats popped up that were in the lower bowl.  I told my daughter and asked if she wanted to go, she said ya but, that she wanted to let our friends buy them.  She would have loved to go but felt bad because her friends’ older sis was the only one of her friends that was not going to be at the concert.  They were great seats, right up by the stage on the side; they had just been released while we were online. That night she was a little sad, but kept reminding herself that her friends’ sister would be able to talk to her friends about the concert.  She wishes that she had gone, but she doesn’t regret giving up the tickets so her friend and her older sister could enjoy it.  They did bring her a t-shirt from the concert and pictures that they had taken.  When she found out that Miley would be here on the 4th she said that she would love to go this time and we told her that the tickets were sold out.  This made her sad (again) but she said ok.  She is such a wonderful girl and I would love to be able to take her to the concert.  We have never been to the Stadium of Fire.  As an extend family we have always met at an area outside the stadium to watch the fireworks.  This year it would be an amazing experience to take her in and let her see her in her idol Miley and watch the fireworks from inside.

proud mom: Freedom

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Although I am a big fan of Miley, even if I am 34. I would like to tell you why I deserve the tickets for another reason. I love America. I have always felt privelaged to live in this country. And what better way to celebrate our freedom and independence than at the largest 4th of July celebration in the nation. It does not matter what talent they bring to that stadium each year. The reason we should all want to attend is to tell America we love her. That we are not afraid to stand up and fight for our freedom. To tell the many service men and women that we are proud of the work they do both here and over seas. I have always tried to make my children understand how truly blessed they are to live in this great Country. When I ask my children what they want to be when they grow up. My 12 year old son tells me he wants to be a Marine. That he wants to fight for this Country’s freedom makes me proud. In 3rd grade my other son was asked to write a poem desribing something they can not touch he chose Freedom. This is his Poem.
“Freedom is helpful.
It smells like roses in a garden.
It tastes like chocolate chip cookies,
melting in my mouth.
It sounds like rain falling on the
ground, outside my window.
It feels like a smooth rock in my hand.
It looks like tall buildings in the
city. Freedom is life.

I know you asked to hear why I deserve to see Miley in concert. But to me she is just an added bonus to the huge celebration on America’s Birthday. Happy 4th of July.

Sue: Pick me please

Monday, June 30th, 2008

I deserve free Miley Cyrus tickets because my kids really deserve to go to this.  They have all had a rough school year and managed to pull off good grades by the time school ended.  We also seem to be the only people we know who have absolutely nothing going on this summer.  No vacation, no exciting people coming to see us.  So we could really use some entertainment close to home to make it a memorable summer.  It would mean the world to me to be able to come through for my kids and get the ‘unobtainable’ tickets.  I have heard that The Stadium of Fire puts on the best fireworks show and the 4th and the 24th are favorite holidays in our family because of the fireworks.  There is something soo exciting about fireworks!  So please please please pick me to be the big winner!

Jules: Singing Along

Monday, June 30th, 2008

“I got the LIMO out front! (*mumble mumble*) every shoe needs a color. (*mumble mumble*) It’s kinda fun. It’s really YOU until you never discovuh-uh!”

There’s really no reason for you to give us the tickets. Our little fam of Miley-worshippers is no better than anyone else who wants to go see Disney’s latest superstar and couldn’t get tickets. The only reason I beg you to offer these tickets to our family is to save my sanity. If my tween doesn’t figure out the real words to the Hannah Montana theme song sometimes before I hit menopause, I may go clinically insane. I offer no excuses for what I may do in a Dr. Jekyll-esque stupor.

So, really, passing the tickets onto us is more a public safety service.

Kittie: Lizzie, the XP girl

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Hi.  My name is Kittie.  About 2 months ago, our world was turned upside down when our daughter Lizzie, age 12,  was diagnosed with XP. {that’s short for Xeroderma Pigmentosum)You may have heard about this disease, but probably not, because it only affects one in a million children!! XP is the rare genetic disorder where people  with this condition cannot tolerate the ultraviolet radiation in sunlight, so even a few minutes of sun can cause cell damage that inevitably turns to cancer.
We are so grateful to now know what had caused her severe burning all her life  and why she had skin cancers at age 12! But since XP is  a life time disease and has no cure, our way of living has changed dramatically.  Check out the XPfamilysupport.org
Now about the concert! What girl would not LOVE to see Miley Cyrus!!  Lizzie loves music and loves watching Hannah Montana. She saw the concert movie, but complained it had too many backstage interviews.  She wanted the Songs!!  Lizzie has a special hood that allows her to be out for a short time, so she can walk into the concert.Because it it at night, she would check her UV meter to make sure when she can take off her hood!!  She has 2 older sisters that love singing, too, and would love to go with her!  In fact 2 years ago, one siter was a volunteer assistant stage manager. It was fun, but too busy to see the show or fireworks.  Her other sister and I volunteered and  sang with the Stadium of Fire choir, but again, were backstage and really couldn’t see the fireworks show!
It would be an understatement to say I really love Glenn Beck and his talk shows!!  We always tune in.  And the Blue Man Group!!  My 3 daughters and I would be so jazzed to see them in Concert.
This would be an awesome event for my daughter, who now spends the days indoors and waits for the sun to go down she she can enjoy the outside and take the dog for a walk in the dark.  The Stadium of Fire would be perfect for her, as we refer to XP patients as “The children of the night!”  Thanks for giving us this chance to win!!

So if I admire Miley,
My parents don’t MIND.
Her concert is coming up,
It’s on the fourth of JULY,
But the tickets are so expensive,
It makes me want to CRY!
I deserve these tickets,
Yes I DO.
I study hard
And take extra summer classes TOO.
Im a good friend,
And I help around the HOUSE.
Not getting these tickets
Makes me as scared as a MOUSE!
I love Miley Cyrus!
Yea, she’s pretty COOL.
If I won these tickets,
I’d take my friends from SCHOOL.
My mom and dad are so PROUD.
I definitely deserve these tickets,
There is no DOUBT!
I deserve to have a fun summer NIGHT,
With all my friends that i would INVITE
Please, choose my creative RHYME.
On it, I have spent a lot of TIME!
But wait! There’s still MORE!
I want to make sure,
I convince you for SURE!
My chances of winning this are SLIM.
In fact, its ” One In A MILLION”
I deserve this! I really DO!
“I’ve definitely got nerve!”
Yes, its TRUE.
If you choose ME,
Then you will SEE,
That you won’t “tear my heart,
My achy breaky heart!”
I’ve entered many Miley Contests,
But I never did WIN.
I sure hope my luck will soon BEGIN.
I know others are deserving TOO,
But I hope my creativity stands out,
And really shines THROUGH.
I Know Miley’s concert
will be amazingly COOL,
I just hope my essay
Isn’t so boring, it makes you DROOL.
So in the last of my words,
I’ll tell you again and AGAIN,
I think I deserve these tickets,
So now let my creativity come to an END.
